sean b huntington,  MA excellent I bought this bag for a camping trip to Maine. It worked awesome. Here's what I fit into it... 2-man tent with rainfly, zero degree sleeping bag, fleece pants, sandals, windbreaker jacket, large bath towel, swim suit, winter weight gloves, paperback book, liter of whiskey, four t-shirts, 4 pairs of socks & underwear, a pair of jeans, cargo net, extra bungees, a pair of shorts and a baseball hat. The thermarest mattress with the tent poles rolled up inside it strapped neatly on the outside of the bag. Securing it to my ZRX was no problem. The bag never moved in over 1000 miles of bumpy back roads of New England. Everyone at the rally thought the bag looked cool. Tip: don't put the bag on the bike before loading like the directions say. You can pack it better off the bike and put it on at the end.

Scott H Laramie,  WY super tailbag The first time I installed the tailbag, it took a bit to figure out how to properly connect it. The pictures in the directions were to small and dark to see clearly. Once I figured it out, it was very simple. The more I use it, the better I like it. It's out of the way while on the bike, and by the 3rd or 4th time I packed it, I found it can carry a huge amount of 'stuff', and if planned carefully, those things you need quickly can be readily available.

Gretchen Moehrle Allentown,  PA Gears Navigator Tailbag I bought two of these for my nephew and his fiancé for their wedding, as they are both cycling enthusiasts. They seem very pleased with them. The bags are well made, although they were a little difficult to install, and they will give the newly married couple years of enjoyment!

Rich Steixner Webster,  NY Gears- Navigator Tail Bag- recommended This bag has several strong points. It uses good, strong nylon tie downs with easy to use spring loaded cams instead of bungees. The rain cover stays on and fits well. This bag looks smallish when it is on the bike but it has a HUGE capacity. I can fit a laptop, two textbooks, a rain jacket, sunglass case, sun block, deodorant, keys, iPod, sweatshirt, spare jeans, face gator, two pairs of gloves, with room enough for some more odds and ends. It looks good on my bike, which is a ratted out 1981 virago. It definitely doesn't look like typical saddlebags or rigid luggage. The only improvements I would make are to put reflective panels on the rain cover, and to make the bottom out of a waterproof material (so that water can't seep through the bottom if you have to put it on a wet seat. Highly recommended if it fits your bike's look.

david weber new london,  CT gears tail bag The fit and finish of this bag are great. It is a cross between a tail bag and saddle bags and has a large capacity with a low profile. The main strapping buckles are metal with not much protection behind them to keep the bike from damage. The bag also does not come with enough strapping options for hook up on my bike and I have had to buy more strapping and protectors for the buckles.
